§ 185-1. Removing of parked vehicles.  


Latest version.
  • Any vehicle parked or abandoned on any portion or area of a public highway or place may be removed and conveyed by or under the direction of a member of the Town of Hamburg Police Department by means of towing the same to any public garage whenever:
    A. 
    Such vehicle shall be found parked or standing in violation of any town, county or state code or statute.
    B. 
    It is necessary to move such vehicle during or following a snowstorm to facilitate snow removal or during flood, fire, or other public emergency.
    C. 
    Any vehicle is found upon a public highway either driven or parked if it is being illegally operated or is illegally registered.
    D. 
    Any vehicle is found in a no-parking-tow away zone, when posted, on the following streets within the Town of Hamburg.
